The FELICIANO DANCE COMPANY has presented the work of its groundbreaking artistic director for over four years. Founded in 2004 when Angel Feliciano branched out from his prestigious dance and theater career to work with his own group of dancers, FDC offered its first performances at alternative sites in Manhattan, including the Apollo Theater where they received a standing ovation. Today, the Company is regularly seen on the landmark stages of New York, The Netherlands, and Belgium, televised on the WB Network and MTV, and performing for noteworthy causes such as: Dancer’s Responding to Aids and the Jerry Lewis Telethon. The repertory has grown from solos and small group pieces to include major evening-length works choreographed and composed by Angel Feliciano.

Broken into three technically elite groups, FDC is composed of 35 dancers  creating a unique mosaic of members with diverse backgrounds in ethnicity and training. Members of FDC perform in New York and tour worldwide each year, bringing visually provocative and captivating repertories to its audiences.

ANGEL FELICIANO, one of the most widely acclaimed choreographers to emerge from Spanish Harlem (NY), first came to public notice when he began to showcase a unique vocabulary and blend of dance, theater and music. Over the course of fifteen years Feliciano cultivated various dance styles beginning with popping and locking; breaking and house; and eventually picking up influences from Broadway and contemporary jazz. After making his Off-Broadway debut in Elizabeth Swado's The Hating Pot, Feliciano pursued acting and musical theater for several years before adding this dynamic to his choreography. Mirroring his own personal experiences as a talented youth growing up in the inner city, Feliciano uses his creative expression as a platform to motivate both children and adults to aspire and achieve their dreams.

In hopes to educate and inspire a global audience, Feliciano created a theatrical production like no other—THE MOVEMENT: A THEATRICAL EXPERIENCE. Crafting this from concept to world-wide performances, Feliciano is able to showcase his myriad of talents from story-telling to music composition and directing; all coupled with an inspiring take on hip-hop and theatre choreography.

Angel Feliciano emerges from a highly respected career as a dancer and uses his passionate performance style and relentless drive for movement innovation in his high-definition, emotionally raw productions.
